Description
The Crown Prince Rudolph apple tree was named after the Crown Prince Rudolf of Austria. The Crown Prince Rudolph apple tree is said to be the oldest Styrian apple variety. Cream-colored, sweet, and mildly spiced flesh with a fine texture wrapped in green/yellow skin flushed a rusted red. Crown Prince Rudolph apple is a standout among samples of 200+varieties in a Pacific Northwest orchard. We enjoy this eating out of hand and pressing for cider.
